Rather conveniently, it’s also compatible with Outlook and can send images as regular attachments (rather than inline) – so the recipient can deal with them more easily. Attachment Tamer lets you to display images, PDF files, audio and video as normal icons, with optional size limits and exception handling. It's seeming less and less like Apple is paying attention to these feedback requests to end this headache.Attachment Tamer provides additional control of mail attachments, and lets you determine how they are displayed and sent. So, I'm curious, is anyone aware of other ways to conquer this issue? Personally, I'm starting to keep my ear to the ground for an alternate mail client. I'm sure there are several others in this sub that have to worry about sending colleagues and clients certain file types because of how Mail actually attaches them. I did find this, but I'd like more time to test it than just under 3 hours. It seems Attachment Tamer is several versions behind, and Universal Mailer just didn't work for me. The terminal commands have done jack all for me. I know several have suggested terminal commands (I think many of them are confused, as they are suggesting the fix for Inline Viewing,) Attachment Tamer (seems dead in the water right now,) and I've tried Universal Mailer. I was wondering if any long term solutions have been found yet for Mail's insistence on sending attachments (usually JPGs, for me) as inline attachments, regardless of settings?
